The discrepancies between the data published by M. MORINEAU (Incroyables gazettes et fabuleux metaux, London - Paris 1985) and A. GARCÍA - BAQUERO (Cádiz y el Atlántico, 2nd. ed., Cádiz 1988) relating imports of american precious metals during the 18th century are well known. The present article focuses not so much on the general evolution experienced by the metallic remittances during the period, but in the determination with as much accuracy as possible, such trends with the evidence of knew data obtained from the registers of the different vessels. Knew data are presented year by year for each ships.
