Considering the growth of the studies on the history of sexuality in Spain, I try to make a report of this situation, drawing the state of affairs as regards this subjects. First, the author consider the major theoretical and methodological problems connected with this type of research. Second, he make a review of the sources, matters and approaches preferred by the historians of the Spanish case. The author take into account what subjects are preferently undertaken by the scholarships and he point out the domains that still remain unexplored
