This paper is giving more details on the Admiral's itinerary in the Kingdom of Castilla between July 1496, the date of his arrival to Cádiz and March 1497, whem he met the Catholic Kings in Burgos. The main historical source is a manuscript written by Colón, with the title «Memorandum of the gold spent in Castilla», where he took an account of the expenses he had during his treap. This document is included as appendix.
